The Chambers (Sub-sectors) We Serve
FoodBev Manufacturing SETA is made up of the five sub-sectors (Chambers) below. Companies operating within the food and beverage manufacturing sector are grouped according to these five sub-sectors based on their specific processes and functions. Each Chamber is led by a committee of key players within their specific sub-sector.
Processed and Preserved Food
The subsector is responsible for the preparation and preservation of meat, fish, fruits and vegetables.
Dairy
This sub-sector is responsible for the production of dairy products, such as milk, cheese, butter, ice cream, yoghurt, and edible ice.
Breakfast Foods
This sub-sector is responsible for the production of breakfast foods and baked goods, such as cereal and bread.
Food Preparation Products
The sub-sector is responsible for the production of ingredients that can create other foods and beverages, such as flour, spices, cocoa, condiments, and pasta.
Beverages
This sub-sector is responsible for the production spirits, beer, malt, soft drinks and mineral water.
